sound light image has been a presentation systems design/installation/service company since 1996. We hold a Virginia contractors' Class B license with the "ESC" designation for entertainment systems, and we maintain general liability and workers' compensation insurance coverage.

Our company began as a cinema systems designer/dealer/ installer. Over the years, we have used our cinema experience with projection, sound, seating, lighting, and drapery in conventional theaters, and broadened our experience to include systems for private homes and houses of worship.

We are excited about the potential for energy, raw material and installation savings for private homes and public facilites that come with new lighting technologies. sound light image recently installed a stage lighting system that used one-tenth the copper wiring used in a conventional dimmer system, with attendant installation and material savings. LED and other new lighting technologies promise to eliminate dimmers from stage lights entirely. LED lights use about one-twelfth the electricity of conventional stage lights, so wiring costs are cut dramatically, and air conditioning loads created by lighting are reduced. In many institutional uses, LED lights will last from 10 to 40 years without replacement!
